On a Hi-Low SL fully lowered on leg pads, Flexabed puts the top of this mattress 16-1\/2\" from the floor, against 20-5\/8\" with a quilted top mattress of full height. That matters to a person who moves across from a wheelchair, or who finds a tall bed hard to get into. What you give up is depth. There are no springs and no memory foam layer, and the core is one piece of foam rated 24 ILD at 1.8 lbs. per cubic foot. It has the same quilted top, knit cover and non-skid underside as the rest of the range, and it costs the same as the innerspring mattress. Flexabed makes it for the Premier and the Hi-Low SL and does not offer it on the Value-Flex.
