Warranty Information

The ShowerBuddy BathLyft comes with a 2-Year Limited Warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty provides protection from the original date of purchase and ensures the product’s reliability for safe and independent bathing.

Warranty Coverage:

• Duration: 2 years from the date of purchase.
• Activation: Becomes active once the customer submits the warranty registration card and proof of purchase.
• Coverage: Applies to defects in materials and workmanship for all ShowerBuddy products, including the BathLyft.

Warranty Exclusions:

The following are not covered under the warranty:

• Normal Wear and Tear: Product or parts failure due to regular use.
• Improper Use: Damage caused by failure to follow the user manual instructions or from improper installation and use.
• Specific Components: Excludes components such as seat cushions and the battery charger, which are considered consumable parts.

Limitations of the Warranty:

• The warranty is VOID if:
  • The original serial number tag is removed or altered.
  • The unit sustains damage from unnatural causes or misuse.
  • The product exceeds the specified weight capacity of 300 lbs. (136 kg).
  • The unit is modified without written consent from ShowerBuddy.

Customer Responsibilities:

• Contact Dealer: For warranty service, the customer should first contact the dealer from whom the product was purchased.
• Return Authorization: Obtain a Return Authorization Number before sending any defective units back.
• Shipping Instructions: The defective product must be returned to ShowerBuddy within 14 days after receiving the Return Authorization Number.

ShowerBuddy’s Responsibilities:

• Repair or Replacement: ShowerBuddy will repair or replace the defective components at their discretion.
• Exchange Program: ShowerBuddy may offer a refurbished unit as a replacement under certain conditions, at their discretion.

For hygiene and safety reasons, and in compliance with FDA regulations, custom mobility products cannot be returned, even if unused.

Final Sale Upon Delivery
Once your product is delivered and any necessary adjustments have been made, the sale is considered final and non-returnable.
