Warranty Information

Merits Health provides a robust warranty program for all its battery-operated vehicles, including the Travel-Ease Folding Power Chair, covering different components to ensure durability and customer satisfaction.

5-Year Warranty:

This warranty covers the frame of the power chair, ensuring protection against any defects in materials or workmanship for five years from the date of purchase.

18-Month Warranty:

Several key components are protected for 18 months, including the seat post, caster forks, power seat actuator, metal seating frame, caster beam, anti-tipper forks, armrest bracket (metal part only), and 31ah or above batteries.

13-Month Warranty:

The joystick, gearbox, electrical harness, charger, transaxle, and motor brake assembly are covered under a 13-month warranty from the original purchase date.

6-Month Warranty:

Bearings, swivel seat mechanism, front riggings, batteries less than 31ah supplied by Merits Health, and Bushings Products, Inc. components are protected by a six-month warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover items such as tires and tubes, upholstery (including seating, arm pads, and padding), plastic and rubber parts, painted surfaces (like shrouds and fenders), fuses, bulbs, battery cases, motor brushes, and brake pads.

Conditions That Void the Warranty

The warranty is void if parts are damaged due to acts of nature, loss, theft, commercial use, neglect, improper operation, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized repairs. Alterations by non-authorized service providers or removal/defacing of the product’s serial number also invalidate the warranty.

Warranty Service Terms

Merits Health may replace warranted parts with either new or refurbished parts at its discretion. Costs related to labor, service calls, transportation, freight, or other charges associated with the installation of warranted parts are the responsibility of the consumer or dealer.

Hieline Mobility Return Policy

At Hieline Mobility, we are committed to ensuring you are happy with your purchase. Should you need to make a return, please review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth process:

• A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns.
• Return shipping costs are your responsibility, and the product must be in brand-new, unused condition and returned in its original packaging.
• All included accessories and components must be returned as well.
• Orders that are canceled after shipment will be processed as returns.
• Delivery and service fees are non-refundable.
• Mattresses, as well as custom-made items tailored to your specifications, are non-returnable.
• You must request a Return Authorization (RA) from Hieline Mobility within 30 days of receiving your item.
• Once your RA is issued, the item must be returned to the specified address within 15 days.
• Upon approval, refunds will be processed to your original payment method, less any restocking or shipping fees.
• Items delivered and assembled by a technician that have been accepted with a signed delivery slip are ineligible for return.
