The Compass Sport is a full-size center-wheel drive power chair built for daily use indoors and out. With the drive wheels under the middle of the chair it turns in a 24" radius, and Golden's springless articulating chassis and Dynamic LiNX controller help it climb. It carries up to 300 lbs. and runs up to 24 miles at 4 mph on two U1 batteries, or up to 34 miles with the optional 50 AH batteries, and it has 3.25" of ground clearance. The high back captain's seat with a headrest comes 18" W X 18" D as standard, in eight sizes from 16" to 22" wide. The seat sets at three heights, the flip-up armrests adjust for height, width and angle, and the footrest adjusts for height, length and angle. It weighs 179 lbs. assembled, and the heaviest piece is the 97 lbs. base. You choose Blue or Red shrouds.

Golden lists up to 24 miles on a charge with the standard two U1 batteries, and up to 34 miles with the optional 50 AH batteries, at up to 4 mph. Range is tested at a 200 lbs. rider and changes with rider weight, surface, terrain and battery condition.
Eight captain's seat sizes, width by depth: 16" W X 16" D, 16" W X 18" D, 16" W X 20" D, 18" W X 18" D (standard), 18" W X 20" D, 20" W X 20" D, 22" W X 16" D and 22" W X 18" D. Each has a headrest and black vinyl upholstery.
The chair weighs 179 lbs. assembled. The base is 97 lbs., the seat with arms 40 lbs., and each battery 22 lbs. (U1) or 30 lbs. (50 AH).
The seat sets at three heights, 1" apart, from 19" to 21" off the ground. The armrests adjust for height, width and angle and flip up. The footrest adjusts for height from 2.5" to 4.5", for length, and for angle from 0 to 10 degrees.
The drive wheels sit under the middle of the chair, so it turns around its own center. Golden lists a 24" turning radius.
