The seat
It has a chaise seat with pocketed coils. The overstuffed seam back lifts off with a quick release.

The right arm holds a wireless smartphone charger and storage. The left arm holds a cup holder and a power port for the removable LED light and tray table that come with the chair.

HeatWave far infrared heat is standard, from the shoulders to the feet.
Battery backup and diagnostics
A lithium-ion battery backup is standard. Golden's SmartTek Diagnostic System is standard.

The Rhea is the four-zone Golden chair with heat already fitted. HeatWave far infrared heat runs from the shoulders to the feet, and MaxiComfort, the power headrest and the power lumbar each adjust on their own from the AutoDrive hand control in the right arm. That arm also holds a wireless smartphone charger and storage, and the left arm holds a cup holder, a USB port and a power port that takes the removable LED light and tray table that come with the chair. The seat is a chaise with pocketed coils. The Medium seat is 22" W X 21" D and the Large is 24" W X 22" D, both for up to 400 lbs. Golden designed it in Old Forge, PA and has it assembled in China. It comes in Sinda in Lagoon and Umber.

Yes. Golden lists every lift chair it makes as an FDA Class II Medical Device, and this chair is one.
Match the seat to the user. Medium has a 22" W X 21" D seat 20" off the floor, for up to 400 lbs. Large has a 24" W X 22" D seat 21" off the floor, for up to 400 lbs. SpinLife's recommended user heights are in the Specs tab. Compare the seat height and the back height with the chair the user sits in now as well.
MaxiComfort gives the chair four Comfort Zones. The seat and backrest move on their own, and the power headrest and power lumbar add two more zones.
Sinda is standard in Lagoon and Umber. Golden offers no fabric upgrades on this model. The Fabrics tab shows every color and describes each family.
HeatWave far infrared heat comes standard, from the shoulders to the feet. Golden does not offer massage on this model.
Golden covers the chair frame, lift frame and recline mechanism for life. Electrical parts are covered for 3 years, then pro-rated from year 4 through year 7. Mechanical labor is covered for 3 years and electrical labor for 1 year.
