The Stride is a folding power chair on an aluminum frame. It weighs 58 lbs. assembled, and with the battery, joystick, cushion and bag off, the frame is 52.6 lbs., which is the piece you lift into a trunk. It folds in one step, straps closed for transport and stands on end for storage. Comfort spring suspension front and back and 12" flat-free rear wheels smooth the ride, and Golden lists a 23.6" turning radius for tables and doorways. It carries up to 300 lbs. and runs up to 9.3 miles at 3.7 mph on an airline-approved 24V 10 AH lithium-ion battery, and its 1.6" of ground clearance keeps it on floors, paved paths and ramps. The seat is a 16" sling back with a removable padded 17" W X 18" D cushion in black and grey, and the joystick mounts on either arm. It comes in black.
