Ki Mobility Rogue DT
The Rogue DT is a rigid ultralight aluminum wheelchair. You choose every part, and we check it against Ki Mobility's rules.
A rigid ultralight chair rated to 300 lbs., with a no-charge ergonomic seat and a choice of folding or welded back
The Rogue DT is Ki Mobility's K0005 rigid wheelchair in 1 1/8" aluminum tubing, rated to 300 lbs. Ki Mobility gives a 10.6 lb. transport weight at 16" x 16", or 9.3 lbs. with the non-folding back. The folding back moves from its set angle to +4 or +9 degree relax positions, and the welded non-folding back is 1.3 lbs. lighter and stiffer.
Choose the seat size, backrest type, ergonomic seat, front frame bend, rear wheels, taper, casters and seat heights, footplate, back, wheel locks, armrests, side guards, accessories and colors. Each choice is checked against the Rogue DT order form as you build.
What stands out
Folding or welded back
The folding back moves from its set angle to +4 or +9 degree relax positions. The welded non-folding back takes 1.3 lbs. off the chair and gives a stiffer ride.
No-charge ergonomic seat
The seat tube can bend up 5" to 9" in front of the back post so the pelvis sits deeper, which Ki Mobility recommends with air cushions.
V-front and Y tapers
The front end comes straight, with a 1" or 2" Y taper, or with a 3.5 or 7 degree V-front to set the legs at the angle the user needs.
300 lb. rating on a light frame
The 1 1/8" aluminum frame carries 300 lbs. with a 10.6 lb. transport weight, and Ki Mobility builds it to take a power assist.
Optimized tower
The axle tower comes with 2" of seat height adjustment, or trimmed to 1" to save weight when the height is settled.
Color choices
The frame comes in 21 colors at no charge, with a free color accent package, colored mag wheels and a colored release bar as options.
The Hieline Insight
The Rogue DT suits an active manual wheelchair user who wants a rigid ultralight frame fitted closely to their measurements, up to 300 lbs. It goes down to a 12" seat width and depth for a smaller adult, and its ergonomic seat costs nothing for a user who sits on an air cushion. Choose the welded back if you never fold the chair and want a lighter, stiffer ride, or the folding back if you load the chair into a car. Take your hip width, seat depth, lower leg length and back height before you start, since Ki Mobility fixes every size when it builds the chair. Choose your backrest type before the back details, your front frame bend and taper before the casters, and your rear wheels before the rear seat height, because they set the choices the page offers. Ki Mobility builds the chair to order, so it cannot be returned once it is made.

Common questions
Measure seated on a firm surface. Hip width sets the seat width, the back of the hip to the back of the knee sets the seat depth, the back of the knee to the floor in shoes sets the seat to footrest length, and the seat to the shoulder blades sets the back height. The measuring guide on the Resources tab shows each one.
300 lbs. There is one frame and no heavy duty version.
Ki Mobility gives a transport weight of 10.6 lbs. at 16" x 16" with the short back height, 4" poly casters and the tubular open footplate, without the rear wheels. With the non-folding back it is 9.3 lbs.
The folding back folds down for loading and has +4 and +9 degree relax positions. The non-folding back is welded, 1.3 lbs. lighter and stiffer, but it takes no rear adjustment or swing away armrests, fewer back angles, and on the fixed height post a back height of 16" at most.
The seat tube bends up a set distance in front of the back post, so the pelvis sits lower and further back. It costs nothing. Deeper seats allow the longer settings, and it is not sold with the solid seat pan or T-arms.
The front seat height depends on the taper and the caster size, and the rear seat height on the rear wheel size. The page offers only the heights on Ki Mobility's charts for the parts you chose.
Ki Mobility's product page describes a Hub Lock, but the August 2026 order form lists push to lock, pull to lock and scissor locks. This page follows the order form.
No. The chair comes with a seat sling, or the aluminum seat pan if you choose it. Some of Ki Mobility's photos show a cushion, which is sold separately.
Ki Mobility offers the Klaxon Twist and a transit option on this chair. This page builds the chair without them.
Ki Mobility warrants the frame and quick release axles against defects for the life of the original purchaser, with an expected frame life of five years. All other Ki Mobility parts are covered for one year from the first purchase. Upholstery, tires, tubes, armrest pads, armrests and push handle grips are wear items and are not covered.
No. The Rogue DT is built to order to one user's sizes, so it cannot be returned. Ki Mobility's warranty covers defects.
No. You can order a Rogue DT from Hieline without a prescription.
No. Hieline does not bill or accept insurance, so the Rogue DT is a direct purchase. Any reimbursement is strictly between you and your insurer.
Yes. Your progress saves automatically in your browser as you go, so you can step away and pick up where you left off on the same device.
Every combination is checked against Ki Mobility's own compatibility rules as you build. An option that does not fit your other choices is greyed out with the reason printed on it, and the build cannot be added to the cart while a conflict is open.
