The Zippie TS is Sunrise Medical's original pediatric tilt in space wheelchair, folding or rigid, built to order from Sunrise's own order forms.
You choose the frame, sizes, seat, wheels, casters, seat height, footrests, back posts, arms and color, and every choice is checked against Sunrise's rules and its seat height chart as you build.
What stands out
45 degrees of tilt
The TS tilts through 45 degrees at a fixed pivot. The cable foot release has no exposed cables to tangle, or choose the dual trigger release on the push handles.
Folding or rigid
The folding frame packs small for a car or a tight home. The rigid frame has fewer moving parts and weighs less.
Grows with the child
Each crossbrace grows 2" in width and the frame grows up to 5" in depth, and the TS frames add Sunrise's True Fit growth program.
Seat heights from Sunrise's chart
Every rear wheel, tire, caster and front seat height is checked against Sunrise's seat to floor height chart.
Three footrest systems
Front mount hangers, extension mount hangers with articulating and elevating options, or Z-Finity, each with the footplates Sunrise pairs with it.
Seating your way
Sunrise's growing seat pan or solid seat with a solid back, or leave them off for a JAY cushion and back.

The first choices are the frame and the model. Take the folding frame if the chair travels in a car trunk, and the rigid frame if lower weight matters more. The TS frames carry Sunrise's True Fit growth program and the TS SE frames cost less without it. Pick the width on the crossbrace that leaves the most growth, and pick the rear wheels, tire and casters before the seat height, since Sunrise's chart decides which heights each pairing reaches. Common questions
Measure the child seated on a firm surface. Hip width is the widest point across the hips. Seat depth is from the back of the hips to the back of the knee. Lower leg length is from the back of the knee to the bottom of the heel. Sunrise's measuring guide is on the Resources tab.
They are the same chair. The TS frames include Sunrise's True Fit growth program and come with transit included or optional. The TS SE frames have no True Fit and offer transit as an option only. Every other option is the same on both.
Each crossbrace adjusts 2" in width. A 12" child can sit on the small crossbrace at its widest or the medium at its narrowest, and the medium leaves 2" of growth.
Sunrise's seat to floor height chart prints the front seat heights each rear wheel, tire and caster can reach. The build only opens the heights on the chart.
They do not work with a choice you have already made. The reason is printed on the option, and every rule comes from Sunrise's order forms.
Yes. Choose a transit included TS frame, or add the WC-19 transit system to a transit optional frame. The tie downs need a seat and back on the chair.
No. The TS is built to order to one child's measurements, so it cannot be returned. The Sunrise warranty covers defects.
No. You can order a Zippie TS from Hieline without a prescription.
No. Hieline does not bill or accept insurance, so the Zippie TS is a direct purchase. Any reimbursement is strictly between you and your insurer.

Every combination is checked against Sunrise Medical's own compatibility rules as you build. An option that does not fit your other choices is greyed out with the reason printed on it, and the build cannot be added to the cart while a conflict is open.
