The silver vein carbon steel frame holds 250 lbs., the back folds down flat with a release hinge, and the swing-away footrests come off without tools. What stands out
This is the cheap, sturdy transport chair, and the thing worth understanding before you buy is that nobody sitting in it can move it themselves, because there are no hand rims. That is the whole trade for a chair this narrow and this easy to fold.
The back-release hinge folding flat is the feature that earns its keep, since a transport chair that only folds sideways still needs a back seat rather than a boot. Two seat widths at 17" and 19", both 16" deep, and the honest advice is to measure the seat the person uses now rather than guess.
