The frame folds to 31" x 13" x 24" with no tools and nothing to take apart. At 13" across it slides behind a car seat or stands in a hall closet, and it goes in most car trunks.
One battery, out with one push
A single 24V 10Ah lithium battery is rated to 11.2 miles and charges in 6 to 8 hours, in the chair or out of it. Push the switch on the battery case and it slides out, which takes 3.2 lbs. off the lift. ComfyGo lists this 240Wh pack as approved by most major airlines and cruise lines.
Brushless motors and electromagnetic brakes
Two 250W brushless motors give 500W combined and 4 mph, with no motor brushes to wear out. The brakes are built into both motors and hold the chair on a slope, and the chair climbs to 10 degrees.
The IQ-Carbon is the folding chair to look at when the seat matters more than the spec sheet. The seating area is 20.5" between the armrest support bars, the same as the Phoenix and the 440 HD Plus, and it carries 300 lbs. on a frame that folds to 31" x 13" x 24" with no tools. The 35.5" turning radius and the 10 degree climbing limit are both better than the IQ-8000's, and the battery releases with one push and is the 240Wh size ComfyGo lists as airline approved. The honest caveat is range and weight. One 10Ah battery gets you 11.2 miles, where the X-7 is rated to 23 miles on its two, and the chair is 46.7 lbs. with the battery in, which is 2.7 lbs. heavier than the X-7 and 9.2 lbs. heavier than the Phoenix even though carbon fiber is in both names. If range or the lift is what decides it, the X-7 does both for $600 less. If capacity is, the IQ-8000 carries 330 lbs. and reaches 19 miles from $1,799. And if carbon fiber has to mean light, the Phoenix is 37.5 lbs. with both batteries in, at $3,199.

The seating area is 20.5" measured at the widest point between the armrest support bars, and the leather cushion itself is 17.7" wide by 17.7" deep. No folding ComfyGo chair we carry has a wider seat, and only the Phoenix matches it.
The cushion and backrest are leather and the frame is black. ComfyGo builds the IQ-Carbon in one configuration, so there is nothing to choose here. If you want a choice of seat colors, the IQ-8000 and the Phoenix each offer seven.
ComfyGo publishes up to 11.2 miles on the 10Ah battery. Real range varies with your weight, the terrain, the temperature and the condition of the battery, so plan around roughly two thirds of that figure. If you need more, the X-7 is rated to 23 miles on its two batteries.
The chair is 43.5 lbs. without the battery and 46.7 lbs. with it in, and the heaviest single piece is 38.5 lbs. The battery has a quick release, so taking it out first turns one 46.7 lbs. lift into a 43.5 lbs. lift and a small one.

Curbside is the free option. The power wheelchair ships from the manufacturer straight to your address. Allow about two to three days for the order to be processed and shipped, then about five more in transit depending on where you live. No carrier in this trade quotes an exact date, so treat both figures as estimates rather than promises. It arrives boxed at the curb, and getting it inside is yours to arrange.
This one comes in a single box and the setup is not hard. The box goes through a normal doorway and most people manage it on their own. The free option is a fair choice here.
Inside delivery means we bring it just inside your front door or into the garage, still in its packaging.
White glove takes a different route. It does not come to your address first. It ships to the delivery technician nearest you, and once it arrives there the technician calls you and books a time that suits you, then brings it into your home, sets it up in the room you choose, checks it for shipping damage and takes all the packaging away. That extra leg adds a few days, and the date is settled between you and the technician, so we cannot give you one up front.
