The backrest adjusts from 18" to 24" and the detachable joystick mounts on either armrest. Choose the 12Ah battery for up to 11.2 miles with airline and cruise approval, or the 26Ah for up to 25 miles.

The seat measures 20.5" between the armrest support bars and the chair carries up to 440 lbs. The backrest sets anywhere from 18" to 24" tall, and ComfyGo sells armrest extension kits that add 1.2" or 2" per side.
A heavy duty chair that folds to 29" x 16" x 26"
It closes down for a trunk or a closet, which almost nothing at this capacity does. The frame is 55 lbs. before the battery goes in and the heaviest single piece is 53 lbs.
Two battery sizes, and one of them flies
The 12Ah runs up to 11.2 miles and is the one approved for airlines and cruise lines. The 26Ah runs up to 25 miles and is not approved for either. Both charge in 6 to 8 hours from a home outlet.
500W of motor and electromagnetic brakes
Two 250W brushless motors drive the 12" rear wheels for a combined 500W, which is what carries 440 lbs. up the 6 degree slope ComfyGo sets as the daily limit. The brakes are intelligent electromagnetic and built into both motors.
The 440 HD Plus is the chair to look at when weight capacity is the whole problem. At 440 lbs. it carries 90 lbs. more than the IQ-7000 AF and 110 lbs. more than the IQ-8000, and unlike the bariatric full size chairs it folds to 29" x 16" x 26" and weighs 62.2 lbs. with the 12Ah battery in, so it travels in a car rather than needing a lift and a ramp. The seat is 20.5" between the armrest support bars, which is the widest in the ComfyGo folding range, and ComfyGo sells armrest extension kits that add 1.2" or 2" per side if you need more room than that. There are three honest caveats. Only the 12Ah battery is airline and cruise approved, so choosing the 25 mile battery means choosing not to fly with the chair. ComfyGo photographs this model in the standard black textile only, so the six color chips show the actual material and every photograph on this page shows the standard seat. And ComfyGo builds the 440 HD Plus in a manual folding version and an auto folding version, and the replacement parts list for the chair sold here has no folding motor in it, so plan on folding it by hand. If capacity is not the point, the IQ-8000 carries 330 lbs. at 58.5 lbs. and both of its batteries are approved to fly.

What is not covered
ComfyGo's limited warranty covers parts. It does not cover the labor to fit them, and it is not transferable, so it runs to the original purchaser only. These are outside it:
- Labor to install a part, and any failure caused by misuse or neglect
- Parts that wear out in normal use, including tires, fuses and lubricants
- Routine service and maintenance
- Unauthorized alterations or repairs
- Damage from an external source or a natural disaster
Shipping to and from warranty service is the owner's cost except where state law says otherwise.

ComfyGo's manual publishes up to 11.2 miles on the 12Ah battery and up to 25 miles on the 26Ah. Real range varies with your weight, the terrain, the temperature and battery condition.
It folds to 29" x 16" x 26". That fits any SUV and most car trunks, though at 62.2 lbs. with the 12Ah battery in it is a two-person lift or a job for a vehicle lift.

Both charge in 6 to 8 hours from a home outlet. Every range figure is measured on flat ground with a new battery. Hills, carpet, cold weather and a heavier rider all reduce it, so plan around roughly two thirds of the published number.

Curbside is the free option. The power wheelchair ships from the manufacturer straight to your address. Allow about two to three days for the order to be processed and shipped, then about five more in transit depending on where you live. No carrier in this trade quotes an exact date, so treat both figures as estimates rather than promises. It arrives boxed at the curb, and getting it inside is yours to arrange.
Inside delivery means we bring it just inside your front door or into the garage, still in its packaging.
White glove takes a different route. It does not come to your address first. It ships to the delivery technician nearest you, and once it arrives there the technician calls you and books a time that suits you, then brings it into your home, sets it up in the room you choose, checks it for shipping damage and takes all the packaging away. That extra leg adds a few days, and the date is settled between you and the technician, so we cannot give you one up front.
Which one you take is up to you. Some people are glad to unpack a new power wheelchair and set it up themselves. Others would rather it arrived working, in the room they want it, with the packaging gone. Both are good reasons, and each card shows what it costs.
