Press the fold button on the joystick or on the handheld remote and the chair closes to 27" x 17" x 30". Nothing comes apart, no tools are needed, and nobody has to bend over the frame to do it.
Two battery sizes, and one of them flies
The 12Ah runs up to 13 miles and is the one approved for airlines and cruise lines. The 20Ah runs up to 19 miles and is not approved for either. Both charge in 6 to 8 hours from a home outlet.
A backrest that adjusts, and 350 lbs. of capacity
The backrest sets anywhere from 18" to 24" tall, which most folding chairs do not offer at all. The seat is 19" between the armrest supports and the chair carries up to 350 lbs.
Pneumatic rear tires and electromagnetic brakes
The 12" rear tires are pneumatic at 30 psi, which takes the edge off rough ground, and the 8" front casters keep the turn tight at 47" or less. The brakes are electromagnetic and built into both motors.
The IQ-7000 AF is the one to look at when the buyer needs capacity and a chair that folds itself. At 350 lbs. it carries 20 lbs. more than the IQ-8000 and 40 lbs. more than the IQ-9000 AR, the backrest adjusts from 18" to 24" where most folding chairs have no adjustment at all, and the powered fold means nobody has to bend over a frame in a parking lot. The honest caveat is weight and air travel. It is 67 lbs. with the battery in, which is roughly 9 lbs. heavier than the IQ-8000 and 23 lbs. heavier than the Jazzy Carbon, so this is a chair you load with a lift or a second pair of hands rather than one you swing into a trunk on your own. And only the 12Ah battery is airline and cruise approved, so choosing the 19 mile battery means choosing not to fly with it. If capacity is not the point, the IQ-8000 carries 330 lbs. at 58.5 lbs. and both of its batteries are approved to fly. If you need more capacity than this, the 440 HD Plus carries 440 lbs. on a 20.5" seat, though it folds by hand rather than under power. The seat here measures 19" between the armrest supports, so measure before you order.

What is not covered
ComfyGo's limited warranty covers parts. It does not cover the labor to fit them, and it is not transferable, so it runs to the original purchaser only. These are outside it:
- Labor to install a part, and any failure caused by misuse or neglect
- Parts that wear out in normal use, including tires, fuses and lubricants
- Routine service and maintenance
- Unauthorized alterations or repairs
- Damage from an external source or a natural disaster
Shipping to and from warranty service is the owner's cost except where state law says otherwise.

ComfyGo publishes up to 13 miles on the 12Ah battery and up to 19 miles on the 20Ah. Real range varies with your weight, the terrain, the temperature and battery condition.
It folds to 27" x 17" x 30". That fits any SUV and most car trunks, though at 67 lbs. with the battery in it is a two-person lift or a job for a vehicle lift.
It is 60 lbs. before the battery and 67 lbs. with it in. Taking the battery out first makes the lift easier, and most people will want help or a vehicle lift for it.
Only with the 12Ah battery. That one is built to airline and cruise rules. The 20Ah long range battery is not approved for either, so if you fly, choose the 13 mile option. Every airline and cruise line sets its own policy, so call yours before you travel.
19", measured across the widest point between the armrest support bars. Sit upright, have someone measure the widest part of your hips, then add about two inches so you are not pressed against the armrests. ComfyGo also sells armrest extension kits that add 1.2" or 2" per side.

The AF you are looking at runs brushless motors and ComfyGo's current digital joystick, and it can be ordered with the 20Ah battery for up to 19 miles. The Classic runs brushed motors and the analog joystick, comes with the 12Ah battery only, and costs $200 less at every rung. Everything else, including the 350 lbs. capacity, the powered fold, the seat and the weight, is the same.

Every range figure is measured on flat ground with a new battery. Hills, carpet, cold weather and a heavier rider all reduce it, so plan around roughly two thirds of the published number.

Curbside is the free option. The power wheelchair ships from the manufacturer straight to your address. Allow about two to three days for the order to be processed and shipped, then about five more in transit depending on where you live. No carrier in this trade quotes an exact date, so treat both figures as estimates rather than promises. It arrives boxed at the curb, and getting it inside is yours to arrange.
This one comes in a single box and the setup is not hard. The box goes through a normal doorway and most people manage it on their own. The free option is a fair choice here.
Inside delivery means we bring it just inside your front door or into the garage, still in its packaging.
White glove takes a different route. It does not come to your address first. It ships to the delivery technician nearest you, and once it arrives there the technician calls you and books a time that suits you, then brings it into your home, sets it up in the room you choose, checks it for shipping damage and takes all the packaging away. That extra leg adds a few days, and the date is settled between you and the technician, so we cannot give you one up front.
