Press the fold button on the joystick or on the handheld remote and the chair closes to 27" x 17" x 30". Nothing comes apart, no tools are needed, and nobody has to bend over the frame to do it.
One battery, and it is the one that flies
The 12Ah lithium-ion pack runs up to 13 miles and is the size most airlines and cruise lines accept. It charges in 6 to 8 hours from a home outlet, in the chair or out of it. The Classic is not offered with the long range battery.
A backrest that adjusts, and 350 lbs. of capacity
The backrest sets anywhere from 18" to 24" tall, which most folding chairs do not offer at all. The seat is 19" between the armrest supports and the chair carries up to 350 lbs.
Pneumatic rear tires and electromagnetic brakes
The 12" rear tires are pneumatic at 30 psi, which takes the edge off rough ground, and the 8" front casters keep the turn tight at 47" or less. The brakes are electromagnetic and built into both motors.
The IQ-7000 AF Classic is the same chair as the IQ-7000 AF for $200 less at every rung, and what it gives up is worth knowing before you take the saving. The motors are brushed rather than brushless, the joystick is ComfyGo's Classic analog controller rather than the current digital one, and there is no long range battery, so 13 miles on the airline approved 12Ah pack is the only option. Everything else is the same chair: 350 lbs. of capacity, the powered fold from the joystick or the remote, the 19" seat, the backrest that adjusts from 18" to 24", and 67 lbs. with the battery in. The honest caveat is the same one the AF has. At 67 lbs. it is a chair you load with a lift or a second pair of hands, and if you want 19 miles of range you have to move up to the AF. If you want to lift it yourself, the IQ-8000 is 58.5 lbs. at 330 lbs. of capacity, and the Jazzy Carbon 27 is 27.8 lbs. before its battery at 300 lbs.

What is not covered
ComfyGo's limited warranty covers parts. It does not cover the labor to fit them, and it is not transferable, so it runs to the original purchaser only. These are outside it:
- Labor to install a part, and any failure caused by misuse or neglect
- Parts that wear out in normal use, including tires, fuses and lubricants
- Routine service and maintenance
- Unauthorized alterations or repairs
- Damage from an external source or a natural disaster
Shipping to and from warranty service is the owner's cost except where state law says otherwise.

Three things, and everything else is the same chair. The Classic runs brushed motors where the AF runs brushless. The Classic uses ComfyGo's analog joystick where the AF uses the current digital one. And the Classic is offered with one battery, the 12Ah, so it goes up to 13 miles where the AF can be ordered with a 20Ah battery and goes up to 19. The capacity, the powered fold, the frame, the seat and the weight are identical, and the Classic is $200 less at every rung.
There is a fold and unfold button on the joystick and on the handheld remote. Press it and the chair closes or opens on its own. Stand clear while it moves and park it on level ground first.
ComfyGo publishes up to 13 miles on the 12Ah battery this chair comes with. Real range varies with your weight, the terrain, the temperature and battery condition, so plan around roughly two thirds of that figure.
No. ComfyGo offers the Classic with the 12Ah battery only. If you want the 19 mile option, that is the IQ-7000 AF.
It folds to 27" x 17" x 30". That fits any SUV and most car trunks, though at 67 lbs. with the battery in it is a two-person lift or a job for a vehicle lift.
It is 60 lbs. before the battery and 67 lbs. with it in. Taking the battery out first makes the lift easier, and most people will want help or a vehicle lift for it.
Yes. The 12Ah battery this chair comes with is built to airline and cruise rules, and it is the only battery offered on the Classic, so there is no wrong choice to make here. Every airline and cruise line sets its own policy, so call yours before you travel.
19", measured across the widest point between the armrest support bars. Sit upright, have someone measure the widest part of your hips, then add about two inches so you are not pressed against the armrests. ComfyGo also sells armrest extension kits that add 1.2" or 2" per side.
Yes. It sets anywhere from 18" to 24" tall, so a taller rider gets support behind the shoulders and a shorter one is not pushed forward.
Yes. A handheld remote comes in the box. It drives the chair, changes the speed, sounds the horn and folds the chair, so a caregiver can do all of it from behind.

Curbside is the free option. The power wheelchair ships from the manufacturer straight to your address. Allow about two to three days for the order to be processed and shipped, then about five more in transit depending on where you live. No carrier in this trade quotes an exact date, so treat both figures as estimates rather than promises. It arrives boxed at the curb, and getting it inside is yours to arrange.
This one comes in a single box and the setup is not hard. The box goes through a normal doorway and most people manage it on their own. The free option is a fair choice here.
Inside delivery means we bring it just inside your front door or into the garage, still in its packaging.
White glove takes a different route. It does not come to your address first. It ships to the delivery technician nearest you, and once it arrives there the technician calls you and books a time that suits you, then brings it into your home, sets it up in the room you choose, checks it for shipping damage and takes all the packaging away. That extra leg adds a few days, and the date is settled between you and the technician, so we cannot give you one up front.
