Two 250W brushless motors drive it at up to 4 mph, the two 10Ah lithium batteries are rated to 23 miles together, and a Bluetooth remote in the box lets a caregiver drive it. Two batteries, 23 miles, airline sized
Two 24v 10Ah lithium batteries are rated to 23 miles together and 11.5 miles on one. Both have a quick release, so they charge in or out of the chair and come out to lighten the lift. ComfyGo lists the 10Ah as approved by most airlines and cruise lines.
20.5" quilted seat in eight textiles
Standard is the plain black seat the chair comes with. The seven upgraded colors, Black, Red, Taba, Coffee, Gray, Purple and Navy Blue, are a quilted cushion and backrest that wipes clean and add $100. The seat measures 20.5" between the armrest support bars.
Electromagnetic brakes and anti-tip wheels
The brakes are built into both motors and hold the chair on a slope. Anti-tip wheels are included, and the 12" rear and 7" front wheels handle sidewalks, stores and indoor floors.
The Phoenix is what you buy when the chair has to travel and you are the one carrying it. Carbon fiber puts it at 30 lbs. before the batteries, the heaviest single piece is 27.1 lbs., and both batteries come out for the lift and are the size airlines accept, which is the part that decides a trip. It also gets 23 miles out of that weight, which is more range than most folding chairs manage at any weight. The honest caveats are capacity, seat width and price. It carries 300 lbs. where the IQ-8000 carries 330, it comes in one 20.5" seat, and at $3,199 it is roughly twice the IQ-8000. If you are not flying and not lifting it yourself, the IQ-8000 does the same job for less. If weight is the whole point and you can live with a smaller seat, the Jazzy Carbon 27 is lighter again at 27.8 lbs. before its 4.6 lbs. battery goes in.

Curbside is the free option. The power wheelchair ships from the manufacturer straight to your address. Allow about two to three days for the order to be processed and shipped, then about five more in transit depending on where you live. No carrier in this trade quotes an exact date, so treat both figures as estimates rather than promises. It arrives boxed at the curb, and getting it inside is yours to arrange.
This one comes in a single box and the setup is not hard. The box goes through a normal doorway and most people manage it on their own. The free option is a fair choice here.
Inside delivery means we bring it just inside your front door or into the garage, still in its packaging.
White glove takes a different route. It does not come to your address first. It ships to the delivery technician nearest you, and once it arrives there the technician calls you and books a time that suits you, then brings it into your home, sets it up in the room you choose, checks it for shipping damage and takes all the packaging away. That extra leg adds a few days, and the date is settled between you and the technician, so we cannot give you one up front.
