What stands out
This is the entry point into real pressure redistribution and it is the right mattress for most people leaving hospital with a homecare bed. The five cross-cut zones and the sloped heel do the work that a flat slab of foam cannot, and because there is no pump you have nothing to plug in, nothing that hums at night and nothing that fails at two in the morning. What you are giving up against the Gravity 8 is a layer of foam, a hundred pounds of capacity and the option of raised sides, and against the Med-Aire Melody you are giving up the alternating cycle that a clinician may specifically ask for once an ulcer has already formed. If nobody has told you that you need an active surface, start here. It also outlasts an innerspring mattress by a wide margin, which is the other reason it exists: an innerspring goes soft in the middle exactly where the weight is, and this one is warranted three years against that.

Mattresses cannot be returned. A mattress goes straight onto a bed somebody sleeps in, so once it has left us we cannot put it back into stock. If it arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours and we will put it right at no cost to you, and the manufacturer warranty still applies.
