The Drive Gravity 9 is Drive's premium pressure redistribution foam mattress. This is the 42" x 80" size, part 15970-4280, without raised side rails.
The 42" x 80" Drive Gravity 9, a latex free foam mattress with a memory foam top layer, a sloped heel section and firm edges, for pressure redistribution.
What stands out
The Gravity 9 is built for a person who spends long hours in bed. Its full top layer of open cell visco-elastic memory foam lets the body sink in and spreads pressure, and the heel section slopes down with a channel cut center to take pressure off the heels. High density foam around the edges gives a firm edge for safe transfers, and the bottom layer is scored along its length so it bends with the bed. The removable multi-stretch cover is fluid resistant, low shear and vapor permeable. It is latex free, meets 16 CFR 1632 and 1633, and holds 450 lbs. This size has no raised side rails; Drive makes a version with them, 15970-4280-RR, which we do not list. Drive warrants the foam for 15 years, limited, and the cover for 3 years.
