What stands out
Two things decide whether this is your mattress and neither of them is comfort. The first is the frame: it is 42" wide, so the bed underneath it has to be set to 42", and on the Prime Care P703 that means buying the width extension while on the P903 the expansion is already built in. Measure before you order, because a 42" mattress on a 36" deck overhangs and the edges become a fall risk rather than a support. The second is the base layer, which is solid high density foam rather than the scored or channelled bases used further down this range. That is deliberate: a scored base flexes nicely on an adjustable deck and it is also the first thing to give way under 500 lbs., so Drive traded the articulation for the load. In practice that means this mattress is firmer than it looks and it does not follow an aggressive knee break as sweetly as the Gravity 8 does. If the weight is the problem you are solving, that is the right trade and this is the cheapest honest way to solve it.

- weigh more than 650 lbs., where the 48" version at 750 lbs. is the next step
- have been told to use an alternating pressure surface for an existing ulcer
- want a manual, because Drive publishes none for this model

This product cannot be returned
Mattresses cannot be returned. A mattress goes straight onto a bed somebody sleeps in, so once it has left us we cannot put it back into stock. If it arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours and we will put it right at no cost to you, and the manufacturer warranty still applies.
