Click to zoomDrive P903 Battery Backup
The P903 battery backup lets the bed work if it is unplugged or the power fails. Drive lists it for P903 beds with a serial number above 11L1906.
The Drive battery backup for the Prime Care P903 with Timotion motors. It keeps the bed working in an emergency when the power fails or the bed is unplugged.
What stands out
Without a battery the P903 cannot move when it is not plugged in, so a power cut can leave the bed high or tilted. With this backup fitted the bed still works from its controls. Drive's catalog says this battery is for P903 beds with serial numbers greater than 11L1906, so read the label on your bed first. The P903 manual mounts the battery on a steel plate fixed to the under bed light bracket and plugs it into port CH5 of the control box, and it names the Timotion TBB2 as the only compatible battery. Charge it for at least 24 hours before first use and recharge it after any use. Drive warns that a battery left dead can go into hibernation and never recharge. It weighs 2.64 lbs.
