The Prowler is the scooter you buy when capacity and ride quality both matter, and those two together are what make it expensive. Five hundred pounds on a 650W motor with 12" air tires and suspension at both ends is a genuinely different machine from a travel scooter with a bigger sticker, and the 5" of ground clearance is the figure that decides whether a kerb cut or a gravel drive is a route or a wall. Speed is 7 mph rather than the usual 4, which halves the time to the shops and eats the battery faster on hills. The honest limits are size and weight: 51" long, 233 lbs. with batteries, and a 69" turning circle, so this scooter lives outdoors and needs a lift or a ramp rather than a car boot. Air tires also mean a monthly pressure check, which is the maintenance a solid-tire scooter does not ask for.
