What stands out
A reclining wheelchair is bought for one reason, which is that the rider needs to lie down without being moved onto a bed, and the Viper Plus does that properly: the hydraulic back holds any angle to flat, the legrests elevate, and the headrest is there rather than sold separately. The detail that matters more than the recline itself is the offset rear wheels, because a chair that reclines without moving its centre of gravity back is a chair that tips, and this one puts the wheels where the weight goes. The cost is size and weight. At 47 to 51 lbs. and 50" tall it is a chair for a house or a care setting, not for lifting into a car boot, and the folded width of 12.5" does not change that. The seat depth adjusts between 16" and 18", so the one measurement to get right before ordering is hip width, which is fixed at the point of sale.
