What stands out
33 lbs. without the battery
The chair weighs 33 lbs. without its battery and 37 lbs. with it. The battery weighs 4 lbs. and lifts off.
Folds in one piece
It folds to 13" wide, 28" high and 27" deep, and nothing has to come apart first.
Removable lithium battery
The battery comes off the chair to charge indoors. A charger comes with the chair.
Flip-back armrests
Both armrests flip back to make room to get in and out, and the legrests swing away and come off.
Many power wheelchairs have to be taken apart before they go in a car. The Feather Power Chair folds in one piece, to 13" wide, 28" high and 27" deep, and it weighs 33 lbs. without its battery. The battery adds 4 lbs. and lifts off the back of the chair. That is the reason to buy it: one person can fold it and lift it into a trunk. It has an 18" seat that is 16" deep, armrests that flip back to make room to get in and out, legrests that swing away and come off, and a joystick at the end of the armrest. The limits come with the weight. It carries 250 lbs., its top speed is 4 mph, and it has 3" of ground clearance, so it suits floors, pavement and ramps, and the manual says to avoid uneven ground and soft surfaces. Feather's product page gives an 11 mile range, and its owner's manual, which lists a larger battery, gives 13 miles. Plan on the lower figure. Feather calls the chair airline approved with its own battery, and each airline sets its own rules, so ask yours before you fly. The anti tippers, the seat belt, the battery and the charger come with the chair.

Feather calls the chair airline approved with its original battery, which lifts off the chair. The owner's manual gives the battery as 262.1 Wh. Contact your airline before you travel, because each airline sets its own rules for power wheelchairs.
The seat and back overlay, the swing-away legrests, the anti tippers, a seat belt, the battery and the charger.
Feather's specification table gives a 10 degree climbing angle. The safety section of its owner's manual warns against any slope steeper than 5 degrees. Treat 5 degrees as the limit.
Yes. Each motor has a freewheel lever. Turn both levers outward on level ground and the chair rolls freely. Turn them back in before anyone drives it.
No. Feather's manual says the chair is not approved for any tie down system. Fold it and stow it for the drive.
Feather's product page and sell sheet give one year on the frame, six months on wearable parts and electronics, and three months on the battery. The warranty section of its owner's manual gives a limited lifetime on the frame.

These are extras that fit onto the power wheelchair, and every one of them is optional. Adding them here means they arrive with it rather than as a separate order later.
Read each card before you add two of them. Some accessories mount in the same place, so only one of those can be fitted at a time.

This section covers what the manufacturer warrants and for how long.
There is nothing to buy here. The full terms are in the Warranty tab further up this page.

This section is how your order reaches you and how far into your home it comes.
Curbside is the free option. The power wheelchair ships from the manufacturer straight to your address. Allow about two to three days for the order to be processed and shipped, then about five more in transit depending on where you live. No carrier in this trade quotes an exact date, so treat both figures as estimates rather than promises. It arrives boxed at the curb, and getting it inside is yours to arrange.
This one comes in a single box and the setup is not hard. The box goes through a normal doorway and most people manage it on their own. The free option is a fair choice here.
