The Ocean Ergo VIP is for the person who cannot hold themselves upright on an ordinary shower chair. The whole seat and back tilt together from -5 to 40 degrees to hold the person back in the chair. The tilt moves the center of gravity without a gas cylinder, so it takes little force and stays stable on a small footprint. It still rolls over most standard toilets, the seat plate holds a 5 degree toileting angle, and the seat height adjusts from 18.5" to 23" without tools. The armrests and footrests swing away, the footplates flip up with heel loops, and the backrest tension adjusts and goes in the washing machine. It carries 330 lbs. A shower commode chair cannot be returned once it is delivered, for health and hygiene reasons. Check the seat height and the width of your bathroom door before you order. If it arrives damaged or defective, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will get it repaired or replaced at no cost to you. The warranty above still applies.
