What stands out
An assist rail is a short handhold at the side of the bed, there to steady someone as they sit up, turn or stand. Invacare makes one for the fixed 36" bed, CS600-36, and one for the expandable bed, CS600-EXP, and its manual ticks each for its own bed only. This is one rail; order two for both sides. The CS600 manual has three warnings about it: make sure the assist rail is not in its transfer position before lowering the bed, latch the assist bar fully down after each use and before leaving the person alone, and never use the assist bar as a bed rail. Invacare's photograph shows a light gray rail with a black grip on its mounting frame.

Bed parts cannot be returned. If it arrives damaged or defective, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will get it repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
