Part CS600BATBCK is the Invacare emergency battery backup for the CS600 bed. It powers the bed in a power outage. It fits the fixed 36" and the expandable bed.
The Invacare emergency battery backup for the CS600. It lets the bed work from its controls in a power outage.
What stands out
Without a battery the CS600 cannot move in a power outage, which can leave the bed high or tilted. With the battery backup fitted the bed still works from its controls. The CS600 manual has four rules for it: keep the bed plugged into a grounded outlet even when it runs on the battery, charge the battery only through the bed's controller, and test it every month. A light on the bed shows yellow while the battery charges and green when it is full. Invacare lists it for both the CS600-36 and the CS600-EXP.
Straight talk
Is it right for you?
A good fit if you
- own an Invacare CS600
- want the bed to work in a power outage
Look elsewhere if you
