The CS600 gives you the three things a homecare bed is bought for. It drops to 7" so a night-time fall is short, it rises to 30" so a caregiver works upright instead of stooped, and it carries 600 lbs. The wood-look panels keep it looking like a bedroom bed when the deck is down.

The CS600 earns its price on the height range rather than the angles. Seven inches at the low end is genuinely low, which matters for anyone who gets out of bed alone at night, and thirty inches at the top is a working height that saves a caregiver's back over years of transfers. The expandable deck is the part most buyers miss, because one bed widens from 36" to 42" at the foot end and you are not buying a second bed when the person's needs change. Be honest about the mattress before you order. The bed ships without one, the surface is what decides whether skin stays intact, and on the fixed 36" deck the only mattress we can supply is the Softform Premier Active 2, which pushes the entry price past three thousand dollars. If the budget is tight, the expandable deck with the Glissando gliding surface lands lower and gives you the width range as well.
