Invacare makes four quarter length rail kits for the CS600, each a pair: the head section and the foot section of the fixed 36" bed, CS600-36, and the head section and the foot section of the expandable bed, CS600-EXP. Its manual ticks each kit for one bed only, so choose by the bed you own. A rail is a positioning aid, and every bed rail carries a risk of entrapment. The CS600 manual says the mattress must fit firmly against the frame and the rails, to center it, to check the gaps often as the mattress wears, and to read Invacare's Bed Rail Risk Notification Guide, which comes with each rail kit, before fitting them. Invacare counts the rails in the bed's 600 lbs. safe working load.
