What stands out
A stand-up lift is for someone who can still take part of their own weight but cannot get up safely alone, and the Reliant 350 is Invacare's powered version for home and care settings. The person stands on a wide, non-slip footplate with their shins against a soft, contoured knee pad that sets in three positions, and the motor raises them from sitting to standing. That makes quick work of toilet trips and clothing, and it gives room for standing practice. With a transfer sling the same lift moves someone seated who cannot bear much weight. The base slides under a bed with 4.5" of clearance, the battery lifts out for charging, and the sling attachment is designed to stop the sling slipping off. The power opening base spreads the legs around a chair or toilet from the hand control. Choose the sling at the same time, because the lift does not come with one.
