What stands out
The J3 suits someone a sling back no longer holds well. Start with the shell: PA suits someone who needs light support at the sides, PL a little more, and the deep PD, PDL and PDC shells suit someone who leans or needs the pelvis or trunk held. Then pick the lowest height that gives the support you need, since a taller back limits how far you can reach and turn. SH hardware fits most chairs, TH suits a tilt-in-space chair and RH saves weight on an ultralight chair. Your clinician and your chair's back canes settle most of these choices.

A back support sits against the body, so once it ships it cannot be returned. Measure your back canes before you order and use the build steps above. The warranty is unaffected, so a defect is still covered.
