Click to zoomJAY Solid Seat Insert
A solid wood base that slips inside the cover of your JAY cushion, so the cushion sits on something firm instead of sagging sling upholstery. Sized to your cushion, 8" to 26" wide.
The JAY Solid Seat Insert is a solid wood base that fits inside your JAY cushion's cover, in 113 sizes.
What stands out
A good cushion on a sagging sling seat still tips the pelvis, and the Solid Seat Insert is the simplest fix JAY makes. It is a thin wood board that goes inside your JAY cushion's cover, so the cushion sits on a flat, firm base and you sit level. There is no hardware and nothing changes on the chair. Order it by your cushion's width and depth; Sunrise cuts it 1" smaller each way so it slides into the cover, in 113 sizes. If you also need to lower or angle the seat, you need the Adjustable Solid Seat instead, which we do not list.
