A cushion is a support surface that sits against the body, so once it ships it cannot be returned. Measure before you order and use the size steps above. The warranty is unaffected, so a defect is still covered.

Who is the X2 for?
Active manual wheelchair users who need skin protection and want a light, low cushion. Sunrise Medical classes it as an adjustable skin protection cushion, billed under HCPCS E2622, and recommends that a clinician experienced in seating decide whether it suits you.
Does the fluid need pumping?
No. The JAY Flow fluid needs no pumping. Once a month, when you clean the cushion, check that you are not bottoming out and knead the fluid back into shape if one area feels firmer.
Which sizes can I get?
JAY makes the X2 in 14 standard sizes from 14" X 14" to 20" X 20", and we list all 14. The actual width runs about 0.25" to 0.5" under the size named, so a 16" cushion measures 15.75".
How do I measure?
Width is measured from outside edge to outside edge of the cushion, and should match your hips when you sit. Depth is measured from the front edge of the rear cutout to the front lower edge of the cushion.
Why would I want two outer covers?
So one can be washed while the other is on the cushion. Every X2 comes with one outer cover and the inner cover. The second cover costs $102.75 on our page, the same as the cover bought on its own.
What is the weight limit?
300 lbs., the figure on the X2 order form. Sunrise's product page gives 330 lbs. We publish the lower figure.
How do I clean it?
Machine wash the outer cover in warm water and drip dry or tumble dry on low. Do not bleach or dry clean it. Wipe the fluid insert with warm soapy water and dry it. Wipe the foam base with a damp cloth and no soap, and never submerge the fluid insert or the foam base.
How long is the warranty?
Sunrise Medical warrants the cushion for 24 months and the removable cover for 6 months against defects in materials and workmanship. Punctures, tears and burns are not covered.
Can I return it?
No. A cushion is a support surface, so it cannot be returned once it ships. The warranty still applies to any defect.
What comes in the box?
The stretch outer cover, the inner cover, the foam base, the JAY Flow fluid insert and the two lateral thigh supports.
