Its pendant does more: one button puts the bed into a chair position, another levels it and brings it to a set transfer height, the back pauses at 30 and 45 degrees, and a caregiver can lock every function from the pendant itself. And Joerns covers the mechanical and electrical parts for 4 years and the steel structure for 15 years, against 1 year and 7 years on the WeCare. The height range is 7" to 30" on the roll in low frame and 7.65" to 30.65" on the roll at any height frame, which has the Care-Lock foot pedals at the foot end. The two wider frames have Care-Fit, which slides the platform out to 39" or 42" without tools, and that is the frame to buy for a larger person or one who needs room to turn. Frame
Roll in low or roll at any height decides how the bed moves. A 35" to 42" frame has Care-Fit, which widens the platform to 39" or 42" without tools.
Head and foot panels
Optional. The bed ships without head and foot panels. Each set is two panels, one for the head of the bed and one for the foot.
Rails
Optional. The bed ships without assist rails. A handle is sold on its own or as a pair, one for each side of the bed.
Mattress
Optional. A mattress is not included with this bed. Mattresses cannot be returned. An 84" mattress needs the length extender, which is under Add-ons, and a 42" mattress is for a Care-Fit frame set to 42".
