What stands out
The cover is the part of a foam mattress that takes the wear. It is the fluid proof layer between the person and the foam, and once it is torn, punctured or will not wipe clean, the foam under it is no longer protected. Joerns sells the cover on its own, so a mattress with sound foam does not have to be replaced because of its cover. This is the nylon cover of the PrevaMatt Basic, and it closes with a zipper. The Basic comes in one size, 35" wide, 80" long and 6" deep, so there is one cover and nothing to choose. Joerns says its 35" covers also fit a 36" mattress. Do one sum before you order. The Basic is the lowest priced PrevaMatt, and its cover costs the same as the cover of every other PrevaMatt, so the cover and a whole new Basic mattress are closer in price than on the other models.
