The Joerns trapeze bar hangs a hand grip over the head of the bed. It mounts on a trapeze adapter made for the bed, and it is sold alone or with the adapter for a WeCare or an EasyCare.
What stands out
A trapeze gives a person in bed something overhead to pull on, to lift the upper body and change position. The Joerns bar does not attach to the frame directly. It mounts on a trapeze adapter, and the WeCare and the EasyCare each have their own, so the first question is whether you already have the adapter. If you do, buy the bar only. If you do not, pick the bar with the adapter for your bed, which is the two parts together at the sum of their prices. Because both beds go very low, run the bed from its highest to its lowest position after fitting and check that the bottom of the bar stays at least 1" off the floor. Joerns prints the maximum load on the installation instructions that come with the trapeze. How the trapeze is set up and used is a decision for the person's doctor or therapist.

Bed parts cannot be returned. If it arrives damaged or defective, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will get it repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
