This 36V 10.5Ah lithium-ion battery gives the Journey Zinger up to 9.7 miles on a charge. It weighs 4 lbs. 14 oz., about half a pound more than the standard battery, and it is not approved for air travel.
A 36V 10.5Ah lithium-ion upgrade for the Zinger, rated for up to 9.7 miles and swapping in without tools.
What stands out
The Extended Battery gives the Zinger up to 9.7 miles against 8 miles on the standard battery, for about half a pound more weight. It fits the same bay with no tools or changes. The catch is air travel. At 36V and 10.5Ah it is over the airline limit for lithium-ion mobility batteries, so it cannot fly. If you travel by air, buy a second 7.8Ah Standard Battery instead, which is FAA compliant and $56.37 less. If you drive or stay local, this is the better single battery.
The Journey Zinger 10.5Ah Extended Battery is covered by Journey Health & Lifestyle's own limited warranty. The coverage we have on record is below.
