The aircraft-grade aluminum and nylon composite frame weighs 35.7 lbs. before the battery and 39.7 lbs. with it in, a single pull folds it to 38.75" x 24.25" x 11.25", and the split frame comes apart by hand so the heaviest piece is 19 lbs. A 220W brushless motor drives it to 3.7 mph on five speed settings, the 8.7Ah lithium battery is rated to 9.3 miles, and the joystick installs on the left or the right. The seat is 19" across and 15" deep, weight capacity is 300 lbs. and the tires are flat-free.

Splits into two pieces by hand
One release cable folds the chair to 38.75" x 24.25" x 11.25". The split frame then comes apart with no tools, and Journey rates the heaviest piece at 19 lbs., so the chair goes into a trunk in two easy lifts.
Removable 8.7Ah lithium battery
The 24V 8.7Ah battery is rated to 9.3 miles and charges in 4.5 hours or less. It lifts out with no tools, so it charges away from the chair and the lift into the car is 35.7 lbs. instead of 39.7 lbs.
A 19" seat and one-handed control on either side
The seat is 19" across and 15" deep, the widest of the five Journey power chairs. The joystick installs on the left or the right and carries a battery display, a speed display and a horn. Five speed settings run from a crawl to 3.7 mph, and the patented floating footrest swings clear of trip hazards.
Flat-free tires and electromagnetic brakes
The 10" rear and 7" front tires are solid polyurethane, so there is no air to check and nothing to puncture. The brakes are electromagnetic and hold the chair on a slope, and it climbs to 12 degrees.
The Zoomer is the Journey chair for the person who has to load it alone. It weighs 35.7 lbs. before the battery, the battery lifts out, and the frame then splits into two pieces with the heaviest at 19 lbs., which turns one awkward lift into two easy ones. It also carries 300 lbs. where the Air Elite stops at 240, and the seat is 19" across and 15" deep, the widest of the five Journey power chairs. The honest caveats are the range and the turning circle. Journey rates it at 9.3 miles against 19.8 miles for the Air Elite Max, and it needs 33.5" to turn where the Zinger turns in 24", so it is the harder of the two in a narrow hallway. Journey is also explicit that the Zoomer is a personal electric vehicle and not a medical device or a wheelchair, so do not buy it expecting Medicare or Medicaid to cover it.
