Ki Mobility's Axiom for Kids Back is a formed aluminum wheelchair back for children, with a foam layer and a breathable, wipeable cover. Choose the back style, width and height, then add lateral pads or wings, a headrest, a shell color or accessories. DEX for Kids hardware comes with every back.
Ki Mobility's Axiom for Kids Back is a rigid pediatric wheelchair back in three styles, 10" to 16" wide and 10" to 18" high, rated to 165 lbs., with DEX for Kids hardware included.
What stands out
A child's back needs to fit the chair today and keep fitting as the child grows, and the Axiom for Kids is built for that. Each shell fits a wheelchair 1" narrower or wider than the back, the hardware gives 2" of depth adjustment, and the lateral pads and wings slide up, down, in and out. Pick the Posterior Lateral Back for a child who needs light side support, the Back for Adjustable Laterals when the therapist wants trunk or hip pads placed exactly, and the contoured wings for a smaller torso that needs to be held. The DEX for Kids hardware has a lockout latch, so a bag or a curious hand cannot release the back. A seating professional should set it up on the chair, as Ki Mobility's manual advises.

The Ki Mobility Axiom for Kids Back is covered by Ki Mobility's own limited warranty. The coverage we have on record is below.
The owner's manual is the full warranty
The owner's manual for this product has its own warranty section, and that section is the complete statement of what Ki Mobility covers, for how long, and what falls outside the coverage. Read it before you file a claim. If anything on this page differs from the manual, go by the manual.
Owner's manualThis product cannot be returned
Ki Mobility builds each Axiom for Kids Back to the size you choose, so it cannot be returned once it ships. Measure the back frame of the wheelchair before you order and use the steps above. The warranty is unaffected, so a defect is still covered.
