Ki Mobility's Axiom S is a skin protection wheelchair cushion molded from high-IFD polyurethane foam. Its well has deeper hexagon shapes for more immersion and envelopment around the sitting bones. Choose the width and depth of your seat and the standard or incontinence resistant cover.
Ki Mobility's Axiom S is a skin protection foam cushion with a deeper hexagon well, 14" to 22" wide, rated to 350 lbs.
What stands out
The Axiom S is the step up from the Axiom G for a user who sits for long hours or is at some risk of skin breakdown. The deeper hexagon well lets the sitting bones and tailbone sink in further, so more of the load spreads to the hips and thighs, while the foam base stays simple to live with. Measure the seat of the wheelchair, not the person, and pick the cover by how it will be used. If the user also needs the hips and thighs held in line, look at the Axiom P or the SP cushions.
Straight talk
Is it right for you?
A good fit if you
- sit for long hours and want skin protection from a foam cushion
- are at some risk of skin breakdown
- need a size from 14" to 22" wide, up to 350 lbs.
Look elsewhere if you
- have an open pressure injury or are at high risk of one
- need the hips and thighs held in line
- want to try it and send it back, because a cushion is not returnable
The Ki Mobility Axiom S Cushion is covered by Ki Mobility's own limited warranty. The coverage we have on record is below.
The owner's manual is the full warranty
The owner's manual for this product has its own warranty section, and that section is the complete statement of what Ki Mobility covers, for how long, and what falls outside the coverage. Read it before you file a claim. If anything on this page differs from the manual, go by the manual.
Owner's manualThis product cannot be returned
A cushion is a support surface that sits against the body, so once it ships it cannot be returned. Measure the seat of your wheelchair before you order and use the size steps above. The warranty is unaffected, so a defect is still covered.
If something goes wrong
Call us first at 1-855-HIELINE. We file the claim with Ki Mobility for you and get the covered part sorted out rather than handing you a phone number.
