The PC Deep is the step up from the PC Gel in the Precision Comfort range. A silicone gel insert sits in a deep well in the base, where it molds around the ischial tuberosities and the coccyx and spreads pressure rather than concentrating it. The well is deep enough that the pelvis settles into the cushion instead of perching on it, which is what stops sacral sitting and forward sliding. A removable gel overlay adds immersion on top of the foam, and the outer cover wicks moisture to keep the skin drier.
