What stands out
The LT is the Natural Fit oval made smaller and lighter. Spinergy says it is 17% lighter than the Original, lists it at 20 ounces against 24, and says the smaller oval also suits smaller hands. The rest of the case is the same as the Original: Spinergy says the oval takes pain out of the hands and wrists, gives more control when braking and ends the habit of pushing on the tire. What you give up is surface, because the Original is the wider oval. The thumb guards are a separate purchase. Spinergy says a guard closes the gap between the oval and the rim of the wheel, and that leaving it off lets the handrim mount closer to the rim. The oval is smooth, so if your hands slip on a smooth rim the Surge LT is the version with a grip strip. Check the size before you order, because handrims cannot be returned. Spinergy's page gives no tab count and no fit list for other makes of wheel, so ask us first if your wheels are not Spinergy wheels.

Handrims cannot be returned. Check the size on this page before you order. If they arrive damaged or defective, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will get them repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
