Natural Fit Q-Grip handrims are round push rims with a latex-free, anti-slip neoprene coating. They are sold as a pair in 22", 24", 25" and 26".
The Natural Fit Q-Grip is a round handrim with a latex-free, anti-slip neoprene coating. It is sold as a pair in four sizes.
What stands out
The Q-Grip is the coated handrim in this range, and it is the one Spinergy points at riders with limited hand function. The coating is a latex-free neoprene that Spinergy says does not slip and gives control when braking. A coated rim holds the hand where a smooth rim lets it slide, so it suits you only if that is what you want from a handrim. It is a round handrim, where the other Natural Fit handrims are oval. Any coating is a wearing surface. Spinergy says this one is bonded for durability, and its warranty does not cover normal wear. Spinergy's page gives no weight, no tab count and no fit list, so ask us first if your wheels are not Spinergy wheels. Check the size before you order, because handrims cannot be returned.
Straight talk
Is it right for you?
A good fit if you
- have limited hand function and push with the palm
- find a smooth handrim slips in your hands
- need a latex-free coating
Look elsewhere if you
- want a smooth rim that slides through the hands when braking
- want an oval handrim
- have not checked the size of your wheels
