The Natural Fit Surge LT is the lighter version of the Surge, an oval handrim with a grip strip around the outside. It is sold as a pair in four sizes.
What stands out
The Surge LT is the lighter Surge. It keeps the strip of grippy material around the outside, which Spinergy says adds traction on every push, and the smooth sides, which Spinergy says brake without burning the hands. Spinergy describes it as one lightweight piece and says it can be mounted close in to the rim or wide. Spinergy gives no weight for it or for the Surge, so how much lighter it is cannot be put in a figure. Its page gives no tab count and no fit list either, so ask us first if your wheels are not Spinergy wheels. A grip strip is a wearing surface, and Spinergy's warranty does not cover normal wear. Check the size before you order, because handrims cannot be returned.

Is it right for you?
A good fit if you
- want more traction on the push than a smooth rim gives

Look elsewhere if you
- need a handrim coated all over for limited hand function

- have not checked the size of your wheels
