The Newton backpack is built for a wheelchair. Its two straps adjust and tuck away, and its compartments open from where you sit.
What stands out
An ordinary backpack hangs badly on a wheelchair. The straps are the wrong length for push handles or back canes, the bag swings, and the zippers end up where you cannot reach them. Motion Composites designed this one around the chair. The dual straps adjust to hang it properly and retract when you carry it by hand, the compartments are laid out to be reached from the seat, and the zipper pulls have oversized loops that are easier to catch with a weak grip. Reflective strips and a reflective logo help you be seen at night, and the fabric, 60% polyester and 40% nylon, is weather resistant. It comes in black.
