What stands out
Most rollators are built around a seat about 21" off the floor, which works for an average-height adult and leaves a shorter person perched with their feet dangling. The 006RD moves the seat down to 18" and the handles down to a 29" start, and it takes two inches out of the width while it is at it. Everything else is the standard 006: steel frame, padded seat and backrest, bag, 6" wheels, loop brakes that lock. The sizing is the whole product, so measure before you buy. Sit on a firm chair with your feet flat and measure from the floor to the back of your knee. If that number is near 18", this is your rollator. If it is near 21", buy the standard one instead, because a seat that is too low is as hard to get out of as one that is too high.

- are taller than 5'4", where the standard 006 fits better
- lift the rollator in and out of a trunk often, where an aluminum frame is easier
- walk mostly outdoors on rough ground, where 8" wheels roll better
- weigh more than 300 lbs., in which case look at the RollaMax 036 at 600 lbs.
