What stands out
The OmniX earns its price two ways. It weighs 12.8 lbs., which is about two pounds under the aluminum RollaLite and three under the steel 006, and every one of those pounds is felt at the trunk rather than on the sidewalk. Then it folds the other way. Most rollators collapse front to back and end up a wide flat slab; this one closes side to side to 9.3", so it stands up beside a chair in a restaurant or in the gap behind a car seat. The wide seat and the wide backrest are the other reason to choose it, because 18" of seat is a genuine rest rather than a perch. The pedal at the back lifts the front wheels for a curb, which is the thing most rollators make you do with your arms. The trade is money and a slightly deeper frame at 32.3", so measure a tight hallway before you order.
