What stands out
The Active is the budget three-wheeler and the interesting thing about it is that it is rated higher than the dearer one. Nova put it at 275 lbs. against the Traveler's 250, on a frame half a pound heavier, and it has the wider handle adjustment of the two at 31.25" to 38.25". What you give up is the kit: the Traveler comes with a tray and a basket, and the Active comes with a pouch. If you were going to take the tray off anyway, the Active is the better buy. It is also the shallowest frame Nova make at 21" deep, and it ships knocked down, which is why it costs what it costs. The three-wheel trade applies either way. No seat, less side-to-side steadiness, and in exchange a walker that turns inside your own bathroom. If you lean your weight on a walker rather than steering with it, buy four wheels.
