What stands out
Every transport chair folds. This one comes apart, and on a trip that is a different category of small. With the wheels off it packs to roughly 9 inches through the narrow dimension, which is the difference between the chair sharing a car trunk with the suitcases and the chair being the reason you take a bigger car. That is the whole argument for it. The cost is the weight rating: 250 lbs., the lowest in Nova's transport chair range and 50 lbs. under everything else they make, so check that before anything else. It is also blue only, and the back is low at 15.5" above the seat, the same as the 379, which suits an upright sitter and not someone who needs support to the shoulders. One thing Nova do not publish and we have not invented: how the wheels release, and whether a tool is needed. Their catalog says removable and stops there, so our page does too.
