What stands out
Standard aluminum crutches are rated to 300 lbs., and these are for anyone above that. They are steel, and each adjustment point uses two large buttons. The trade is weight, because steel is heavier to swing than aluminum. Nova size them by user height, 5'2" to 5'10" for the Adult and 5'10" to 6'6" for the Tall, so choose the one your height falls in.
Straight talk
Is it right for you?
A good fit if you
- You weigh more than 300 lbs. and up to 500 lbs.
- You want steel rather than aluminum.
- You are between about 5'2" and 6'6".
Look elsewhere if you
- You are shorter than about 5'2".
- You cannot put weight through your hands and wrists. Look at a knee scooter or a wheelchair.
- You want a light crutch to swing. Aluminum crutches weigh less.
