What stands out
Most rolling walkers are built around an average-height user and the tall ones are left to hunch. The DX exists to fix that: the handles go to 40.25" where the standard Star 8 stops at 38", and the seat goes to 23" where the Star 8 stops at 22". Those look like small numbers on a page and they are not small in use, because handle height is what decides whether you push the walker with your shoulders down or with them rolled forward, and a walker you fight is a walker you stop using. The price is the honest objection. At a hundred dollars over the Star 8 it is a lot to pay for reach, and if you are under 5'10" you are paying for range you will never wind out. Measure from the floor to your wrist crease with your arm hanging loose before you decide. Above 38", this is the frame. Below it, buy the Star 8.
