What stands out
One bedside transfer
The child transfers once, at the bed. From there the chair rolls over the toilet and slides into the tub, so the two riskiest moves in the bathroom do not happen.
Eight seat depths
10.70" to 17.70", so the seat is set to the child's thigh length rather than to an adult average. Back cushions go down to 9" wide.
A Leckey seat if the child needs one
The MC6000 Leckey carries a Leckey Advance bath chair in five sizes, with a mesh or commode seat and Leckey's own chest and hip belts.
Tilt for pressure and access
The Tilt Pediatric uses a center-of-mass tilt with the adjustable padded headrest included, which shifts weight back for pressure relief and caregiver access.
The bathroom stays as it is
The tub and shower base stands over the tub wall on legs that adjust to the inside and outside tub heights. Nothing is fixed to the wall or the floor.
Grows with the child
Seat depth, back height, footrest length and bridge length are all set at order and most are adjustable afterwards.
The Hieline Insight
A child who needs help bathing usually needs help three times: onto the toilet, into the tub, and back out again. The pediatric MC6000 removes two of those. The chair rolls over the toilet and slides across the tub wall on a locking bridge, so the only lift is the one at the bed. What makes the pediatric version its own product rather than a smaller adult one is the seat: eight seat depths from 10.70" to 17.70", back cushions down to 9" wide, and its own cushion part numbers. The MC6000 Leckey goes further and replaces the Nuprodx seat entirely with a Leckey Advance bath chair in five sizes, which brings contoured support, a mesh or commode seat and Leckey's own belts. Take the Leckey when the child needs postural support rather than just a safe seat, take the Tilt when pressure relief and caregiver access matter, and take the plain pediatric chair otherwise.

Returns
The pediatric MC6000 is built to order. The bridge is cut to your bathroom and the seat, back and frame are made to the child, so it cannot be resold and it is not returnable. Nuprodx excludes custom parts and custom cushions from returns outright. Use the Nuprodx user measurement and bathroom fitting guide on the Resources tab before you order, and the ten measurements it asks for will settle the fit.

Common questions
Measure from the center of the toilet bowl to the center of the tub drain or spout. That figure is "K" in the Nuprodx user measurement and bathroom fitting guide on the Resources tab. Pick the locking bridge nearest that measurement. Bridges run 9" to 23" in 1" steps.
It replaces the Nuprodx seat and back with a Leckey Advance bath chair, in one of five sizes. That means the seat cushion, back cushion, seat depth, backposts, footrests, armrests and headrest all come from Leckey instead, so those steps do not appear. The Leckey head support and abduction belt are in Accessories.
Size 1 suits 30" to 41" tall, size 2 37" to 49", size 3 45" to 57", and sizes 4 and 5 53" to 65". Sizes 1 to 4 are a 16" seat width and size 5 is 19". The full size chart is in the order form on the Resources tab.
158 lbs., which is the 72 kg figure Leckey print in their own size chart. Sunrise's specification page says 159 lbs. for the same chair. We publish the lower of the two, because a weight rating is not something to round up.
The 16.90" and 17.70" settings need the seat depth adapters, which are in Accessories. The 16.20" and 17.70" settings do not work with a tall and narrow back or with laterals.
On the size 5 Leckey chair only, as a commode cushion in place of the mesh seating system. A commode cushion ordered with size 5 ships in gray.
The HCPCS codes on this system are E1399 and E0240. Whether a payer covers it is between you and that payer, and a code on a form does not by itself mean coverage or payment. Sunrise publishes these codes from PDAC verification or from their reading of Medicare definitions.
