10" solid drive wheels
Solid tires all round, with 5" anti-tip wheels in front and 6" casters at the rear, so there is nothing to inflate. Ground clearance is 0.75" at the motor bracket.
Two sealed Group U-1 batteries
Two 12 volt Group U-1 sealed lead acid batteries of about 35Ah, maintenance free, carrying the chair up to 19.4 miles on a charge.
The Select is the maneuverable end of the full-size Jazzy line. The honest caveat: Pride publishes 0.75" of ground clearance at the motor bracket, which is less than half the 1.85" on the Jazzy Elite ES and a quarter of the 3" on the Jazzy EVO 613. If you need more than 300 lbs. of capacity, the Jazzy Elite HD carries 450 lbs., or 400 lbs. with its seat set 18" deep, on a base 24.25" wide. If you want a narrower base for a tight doorway, the Jazzy EVO 613 is 22" across and turns in 22" at the same 300 lbs.

This is two measurements, and it is the choice worth taking time over.
Width is how wide the seat is across. Sit upright, have someone measure the widest part of your hips, then add about two inches so you are not pressed against the armrests. Round up to the nearest size below.
Depth is how far the seat runs from your back to its front edge. Measure from your back to the back of your knee, take off an inch or two, and aim for a gap of three or four fingers behind your knee. A seat that is too deep presses behind the knee and pushes you into a slouch.
All three sizes cost the same, and each one adjusts through its own depth range once it arrives.

Curbside is the free option. The power wheelchair ships from the manufacturer straight to your address. Allow about two to three days for the order to be processed and shipped, then about five more in transit depending on where you live. No carrier in this trade quotes an exact date, so treat both figures as estimates rather than promises. It is left boxed at the curb, and everything after that is yours.
Read this before you take the free option. A full-size power wheelchair is a two person job. It usually arrives in more than one box, and those boxes usually will not fit through a standard 32 inch doorway, so they have to be opened in the garage or outside and the power wheelchair driven in once it is built. The setup is the hard part. It is not beyond anyone, and it is far easier the second time than the first.
If you have not done one before, take an upgrade.
Inside delivery means we bring it just inside your front door or into the garage, still in its packaging. It saves you the carry and leaves you the setup.
White glove takes a different route. It does not come to your address first. It ships to the delivery technician nearest you, and once it arrives there the technician calls you and books a time that suits you, then brings it into your home, sets it up in the room you choose, checks it for shipping damage and takes all the packaging away. That extra leg adds a few days, and the date is settled between you and the technician, so we cannot give you one up front.
Most people buying a full-size power wheelchair take white glove, and on this one we think that is the right call.
